TWCF Country Report: USA

This report is part of the main study “A Multi-Country Investigation into the Conceptualization and Experience of Social Connection, Social Isolation, and Loneliness.” The study uses qualitative interviews to examine how people in different cultural and social contexts understand and experience connection, isolation, and loneliness in everyday life. It aims to capture how these concepts are shaped by local norms, relationships, and social structures, and how they relate to individual and collective well-being. By documenting these experiences across countries, the study contributes comparative insight into the role of social connection in human flourishing and public life.
